“This snare took every tuning range I put it through. I recorded 6 songs and didn’t change the snare. The engineer kept asking . . . Is that the same snare? Man, it sounds good. Everyone just kept asking . . . what snare is that?” “K WAT makes desert island snare drums. If I could only have one snare drum to use on any kind of recording, it would be The Beast. It just works on every song.

“K-WAT Drum Co. builds drums that don’t just look incredible, they inspire you the moment you sit behind them. The craftsmanship is second to none and the attention to tone, feel, and detail makes every kit a true work of art. On stage, they cut through with clarity and power. In the studio, they deliver warmth, depth, and consistency every engineer loves. K-Wat has a way of combining innovation with tradition, creating drums that are versatile enough for any style yet uniquely their own. I’m proud to play K-WAT drums and trust them night after night.”

I’m excited to announce that I’m officially part of the K-WAT family! Kevin Watkins is crafting some absolutely incredible snares. I’ve been playing “The Beast” for a while now and plan on taking these two (The Aluminare Lite and The Tin Man) out on tour this summer with Richard Marx, who will be doing dates with the legendary Rod Stewart.
I highly recommend checking out these stellar snares! KILLER!
